Join curator Kate Brehme and arts educator Jovana Komneniç in taking over the gallery for a day of inspired art-making. The idea of interconnection between humans and nature is found in all the art works in Unruly Splendor.
The workshop series engages with ways of queer self-publishing, writing, collaging and illustration as practices of solidarity and community building. The project connects two geographical locations, Accra and Kumasi, Ghana, and Berlin, Germany, intertwining queer stories told in, about, and from those locations.

For years, pupils from Neukölln have been discovering and trying out the craft of sculpture in workshops. This year, the Department of Culture is presenting some selected results to the public in the Körnerpark’s “Kreativraum”.
The exhibition “Unruly Splendour. Exploring Bodies through the Spectrum of Nature” open until midnight during 48h Neukölln.
The curators Kate Brehme and Kirstin Broussard, together with the artists Andrea Acosta, Marie Salcedo Horn and Kyoco Taniyama, will conduct a guided tour through the exhibition inviting you to journey through the ideas, stories, and worlds that were created.
