Grounding Biospherics

During this workshop, we will become storytellers and explorers of microbial systems, guided by Sybille Neumeyer and India Mansour, who together form the collective Ecologies of Breakdown. In their joint research they reflect on the qualities of ecological, economical and cultural breakdown by fathoming Biospheres as scientific and cultural devices. During the workshop, they will introduce biospherics and the art-science installation, seed the biosphere with a new local microbial community and invite engagement with human and other-than-human perspectives on cycles, breakdown matters and dormancy.

The event will be held in German and English.
