EVERY SINGLE THING THAT EXISTS IN THIS INFINITE UNIVERSE IS EITHER…

The exhibition focuses on an interdisciplinary and international dialog that examines the relationship between humans, the natural environment and other organisms. The exhibition, whose title is borrowed from a popular internet meme, aims to portray life as an interweaving of possibilities, unforeseen perspectives and the absence of complete control. The concept is inspired by Timothy Morton’s “Ecology without Nature” and the work of Donna Haraway. It challenges dualistic views of the world, advocates a more open understanding of natural boundaries and emphasizes shared responsibility for ecological change.
In five chapters, the exhibition is dedicated to themes of human and non-human communication, the human microbiome, interdependence and tells of ecologies of failure.
Each exhibit contributes to a deeper understanding of ecological interrelationships and challenges conventional views.
The exhibition encourages visitors to establish new ecological narratives and to (self-)critically reflect on society’s understanding of the environment and their own role in it.
