Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt cordially invites you to the opening of the exhibition Up Close – Goldrausch 2025. This year’s group show presents current works by fifteen international female artists from the renowned support and training program.
The exhibition brings together artistic positions that are characterized by a precise analysis of contemporary realities as well as experimental explorations of new forms of expression. In painting, photography, large-scale and multimedia installations, performance, video, and drawing, questions of memory, subjectivity, and power structures become visible. The works open up perspectives in which closeness – Up Close – can be experienced as an artistic strategy: closeness to one’s own biography, to social conditions, and to political debates.
