Finissage and guided tour with curator Jiaxing CHAO

To mark the end of the exhibition The Back of the Treasure, the Galerie im Körnerpark cordially invites you to the finissage. Curator Jiaxing Chao will guide visitors through the rooms and provide in-depth insights into the curatorial concept and the theoretical questions underlying the show.

The exhibition takes Johann Melchior Dinglinger’s Throne of the Great Mogul as its starting point and transfers its contrasts between front and back, order and chaos, materiality and imagination into the present. Contemporary positions digitally transform the historical object and explore new perspectives on imagination and aesthetic experience.

The closing event offers the last opportunity to experience the exhibition in its entirety and engage in a dialogue with the curator about its content.
