We warmly invite you to the finissage of the exhibition Up Close – Goldrausch 2025. Curator Yolanda Kaddu-Mulindwa and Hannah Kruse, director of the Goldrausch Künstlerinnenprojekt, will guide you through the group show and provide in-depth insights into the works of the fifteen international female artists participating in the renowned support and training program.
The exhibition brings together artistic positions that are characterized by a precise analysis of contemporary realities as well as experimental explorations of new forms of expression. In painting, photography, large-scale and multimedia installations, performance, video, and drawing, questions of memory, subjectivity, and power structures become visible. The works open up perspectives in which closeness – Up Close – can be experienced as an artistic strategy: closeness to one’s own biography, to social conditions, and to political debates.
The finissage offers the last opportunity to experience the exhibition in its entirety and engage in a dialogue with the team about its content.
The guided tour will be held in German.
