During this event, the first two virus tamers – Artist Pei-Ying Lin and Scientist Miranda de Graaf – will share their reflections about their experience of trying to tame the Norovirus in the form of a recital. The attempt to become the tamers brings a new perspective on mundane daily interactions and objects for Pei-Ying Lin, which she refers to as the ‘Teaching of the Norovirus’. Much of these perspective shifts were enlightened by the scientific research done in Virology, of which a huge part of Miranda de Graaf is actively engaged. Participants are invited to join the recital and the mini-forum that explores the collective perspective on viruses and the invisible world around us.
