LINES FICTION

Drawing & Animation

In the exhibition LINES FICTION, international artists show their digital animations and animated films. Drawings on paper and drawings within the moving image are complementary poles that cannot exist without each other. Based on the line, they inspire and complement each other.
Initiated by Berlin-based artist Bettina Munk, the exhibition was preceded by an open call for participation. Both hand-drawn and computer-animated films were submitted, including experimental clips. The result is a film reel from A to Z that is as diverse as drawing as a medium itself.
