Interdisciplinary talk
with artists of the exhibition “Silent Spring” and Prof. Dr. Pierre Ibisch
In this interdisciplinary talk, we will discuss thematic complexes of the exhibition with the artists themselves and professor of conservation Dr. Pierre Ibisch in front of the art works. We will talk about the appropriation of landscapes as well as the relationships between human and non-human living beings. How can a forest regenerate itself after exposure to heat, drought and fires? How can humans reconnect with nature? Prof. Dr. Pierre Ibisch leads the “Pyrophob” research project, which investigates how forests can protect themselves against fires and climate change.
The talk will take place in German.
