Deeply rooted – Nature as an Archive and Medium of Memories
A workshop on the diversity of rocks with Beate Witzel, Head of the Geological Collection of the Stadtmuseum Berlin.
Erratic blocks and fieldstones are familiar to us, but they don’t belong to Berlin at all. They were only pushed here by glaciers from the north during the ice ages. You will learn about the exciting history of discovery and the variety of rocks in this “stone-rich” workshop.
