Death was and is an urgent topic for artists in all epochs. Mourning and melancholy, dying and the fear of death are empirical, existential experiences with which every human being is confronted. Exitus means death and exit. All the paintings, photographs, drawings, sculptures, videos and installations on the theme of death presented in the exhibition are united by the perspective of the subjective point of view. It is not about abstract, general considerations, but the personal concern is clear as a common thread.
